Along the way they test their skills, discover extraordinary creatures, and uncover things hiding in plain sight, right in their own backyard, that most of us might walk past every day without ever noticing.

Each mission is designed to get your family to go outside, slow down, and notice the natural world together. They build the same skills at the heart of the R.O.O. Wellbeing Program, curiosity, giving new things a go, pushing through when things seem hard, respect, responsibility, and 'pause power', the ability to pause and pay attention.

Open to: Anyone aged 18 or over (parents/guardians entering on behalf of their family). Entry is free — no purchase necessary.
Challenge period: Opens 14 August 2026. Closes 11:59pm AEST, 31 August 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
How to enter: Select a mission, complete it outdoors with your family, upload a photo of what you found or made (no faces required), and submit the entry form at challenge.tradieroo.org.
How winners are chosen: This is a game of skill, not a game of chance. Entries will be judged by the Tradie Roo & Co team on creativity, adventure spirit, and the story told through the photo. The judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes: Runner-up prize 1 — full set of 6 Roo Crew Adventures hardcover books (approximate retail value AU$150). Runner-up prize 2 — Tradie Roo and Cookie hand puppets (approximate retail value AU$80). Grand prize — full book set, both puppets, and 12 months' access to the Go Bounce app (approximate total retail value AU$260). Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Winner notification: Winners will be contacted via the email address provided in their entry on or before 5 September 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner may be selected.
Privacy: Personal information collected is used solely for the purpose of administering this challenge and contacting the winner. We will not share your information with third parties. Photos submitted will not be published without your separate written consent.
